**Suzanne McRae** is an Australian artist working under the name **Hip Hip Decay**. For more than half a century, she has explored imagination, historical memory, and sentimentality through a deeply personal body of work. Drawing on a background in costume and fashion, together with a university degree in ceramics, she creates character sculptures in textiles and clay using antique fabrics sourced from Australia and Europe. Her works are held in collections around the world.
