Rocío Araya (Bilbao, 1982) is an illustrator, painter, and sculptor. She holds a Fine Arts degree from the University of the Basque Country, and her work moves between illustration and contemporary art, distinguished by a poetic, delicate, and deeply evocative visual language. Her work has received international recognition, including the White Ravens distinction and an artist residency at the Maurice Sendak Foundation in New York. She currently lives in France, where she continues to develop her practice across illustration, sculpture, and painting.
